Michael Griswold, CFA, is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer. He sets the strategic direction for portfolios with AIM’s strategy team and is responsible for leading the asset allocation and risk management processes across all client portfolios with respect to their unique objectives, benchmarks, and constraints. Through portfolio construction and ongoing analysis, he and his team ensure that the best thinking of AIM’s investment professionals is effectively and efficiently translated into client portfolios. He has 21 years of investment experience.
Prior to joining AIM in 2013, he served as a Vice President in the Investment Strategy and Solutions Group
at BNY Mellon Investment Management, where he developed asset allocation solutions for the firm’s
largest institutional clients based on the group’s proprietary research frameworks. He previously served
as Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Scholtz & Company LLC, a registered investment advisor in
Norwalk, Connecticut.
Mr. Griswold earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from Miami University, Oxford,
Ohio, and his Master of Science degree in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society
of St. Louis.
