Peter Birk, CFA, CAIA is a Senior Analyst of Investments. Peter is responsible for investment research, sourcing, performing due diligence, and monitoring for AIM's investment strategies. He has eight years of investment industry experience, with a focus on private markets.
Prior to joining Ascension Investment Management in 2019, Mr. Birk was a Vice President of Consulting at Highland Associates, working with a portfolio of Healthcare, Community Foundations, and Pension clients. He also worked for Summit Strategies Group in St. Louis as an associate in their private markets and consulting groups.
Mr. Birk earned a BSBA degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO and is a CFA and CAIA charter holder. He is currently attending The University of Chicago Booth School of Business for his MBA.
