Jingwan Chen, CFA, CAIA is an Associate Director of Investments. Jingwan is responsible for investment research, sourcing, performing due diligence, and monitoring for AIM’s investment strategies. She has 13 years of investment industry experience.
Prior to joining Ascension Investment Management in 2015, Ms. Chen was an Associate Analyst at Edward Jones, covering fixed income mutual funds registered in both the U.S. and Canada. She was also a Relationship Management Associate at T. Rowe Price in Baltimore, MD, working with sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension funds, and asset management firms from North Asia.
Ms. Chen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where she double majored in Mathematics and Economics. She has also attended schools in the UK and China. Ms. Chen is a CFA and CAIA charter holder and speaks Mandarin and Cantonese fluently.
